About Us
Ndigboamaka is a great association formed to cater for the welfare of Igbo traders in Lagos and we do this through International best practices including interfacing with relevant governmental agencies on policies that affect the traders.
In line with the just mentioned important role of Ndigboamaka, we are also trying our best in discovering, identifying and aiding access to all available government packages/facilities meant for traders to facilitate our businesses and general welfare from time to time in Lagos and beyond..
Let me also bring to our notice that Ndigboamaka Progressive Markets Association also doubles as a Mini-Chamber of Commerce and Industry connecting members with relevant international bodies where we can either introduce our products or buy from many countries of the world. This brings us back to the topic of this MISSION STATEMENT THE ROLE AND IMPACTS OF NDIGBOAMAKA PROGRESSIVE MARKETS ASSOCIATION ON TRADERS.
Being a welfare-oriented association, the Executives has been reaching out to the State Government and, where necessary, the Federal Government or its agencies for the good of traders in Lagos and Nigeria at Large.
Our association also intervenes in cases of internal and external market crisis in Lagos State.
We also advise our members to always comply with Government policies so as to reduce or forstall the incidence of sealing of shops/ markets or the demolition of structures in our Markets. We also educate our members on govenrment polices to avoid the incidence demolition of structures, infractions as the case may be.
Founded in 2010 as Ndigboamaka Progressive Association South East lagos which metamorphosed to Ndigboamaka Progressive Markets Association umbrella organisation of over 58 major markets Association in lagos..
